The U.A.E. National Day celebrations at Sas Al Nakhl village commenced with ‘Flea Market’ and concluded with a grand BBQ & Pool Party on December 9th at the community clubhouse. A total of 136 residents, including children, attended this event and made it a great success.   With colorful slides and floaters, children participated in different pool games and enjoyed ‘Bouncy Castle’ & ‘the big floater’.

                       
Later in the day, the BBQ party started, and kids enjoyed crispy french fries, juicy hotdogs & yummy burgers while adults enjoyed lamb kebabs, chicken shish taouk & barbeque chickens together with salad, bread & beverages. A wonderful time was had by all, and Khidmah was pleased to offer this opportunity for our residents to gather and celebrate the UAE National Day!

                       

Thanks to great response, Khidmah once again organized a ‘Flea market’ at Sas Al Nakhl community on December 2nd 2011 to mark the UAE’s 40th National Day celebrations. To benefit our vendor residents, the event was open for all residents and non-resident guests. Approximately 325 residents & visitors participated in the event and made it a rousing success. With 26 stands, residents successfully sold & purchased items varying from bags, books, fashion accessories, toys, shoes, CDs, books, ornaments & jewelry. 

               

It was an exciting experience for everybody, from setting up the tables & chairs to selling and bargaining the goods. There were also young entrepreneurs involved in selling items like toys, used clothes and books. They also helped their parents to attract potential buyers. To make the event more exciting, Khidmah arranged Henna painting for the female attendees, distributed balloons to kids and served hot beverages to the residents. Overall it was a great platform for all the residents to meet & socialize with their neighbors.

             

Khidmah was delighted to receive some excellent responses from the residents, thanking and praising staff for the superb arrangements and requesting more similar events. Khidmah thank all the residents for their amazing comments and appreciation. There are surely many more events to come in the near future.

            

On the 31st of October, our valued residents enjoyed a Halloween Party at Sas Al Nakhl clubhouse! More than 160 children and 80 adults attended the event and celebrated this occasion with the fellow residents in fancy dresses and Halloween moods. Khidmah was thrilled with the excellent participation and marvelous response from children and parents.

Several kids and even parents visited villas in the community to do ‘Trick or Treat’. It was great fun watching them roaming in the community in their funny cum scary costumes. At 7:00 PM, our host - Captain Jack Sparrow of Pirates of the Caribbean, started the program. Children and adults decked out as the Addam’s Family, walking skeletons, zombies, witches with their brooms and Frankenstein joined in the fun. We also had little princes & princesses together with their dukes and duchesses to add some royalty to the event. With their fancy costumes, children thoroughly enjoyed the “Zombie Walk” game, which was the highlight of the evening.

Parents and children had a great time and were very pleased about the party. It was a fun filled evening with our valued residents! Khidmah thank all the residents who attended the event and made it more thrilling & exciting!

On June 26th, a Movie showing was organized utilizing an Inflatable Movie Screen at Sas Al Nakhl Clubhouse.  The Event ran from 7:30 - 11:15 pm and was enjoyed by 54 kids, 15 teenagers and 8 adults. Kids were shown ‘Shrek – The Final Chapter’ and teenagers & adults enjoyed watching ‘The A-Team’ on a large Inflatable Movie Screen at the Swimming Pool.

                  

Residents enjoyed the movie while swimming and floating in the Swimming Pool. Parents thanked Khidmah staff for organizing such a wonderful event for kids & teenagers and requested similar events every month. Khidmah is planning to organize monthly viewing. Look forward for our communication for the next event.

               

To give back to the community, a blood donation drive at Sas Al Nakhl Clubhouse was organized by Khidmah Clubhouse team in coordination with Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. It was a successful event; we had 35 registered donors, and 19 residents were able to donate blood. We thank all the residents who supported this cause and participated in this noble endeavor.

                      

On May 20th, the Khidmah Clubhouse Management team arranged for a Flower Genie Show. Mrs. Paula Simpson of FLOWER GENIE M.E. made a flower arrangement display for the clubhouse reception, together with other decorative floral art made with artificial flowers.

                   
Many residents attended the event and made it successful. Due to the high demand of this event, we arranged another on 28th May, which was again well attended by our valued residents.  Samples of the flower arrangements are available in Sas Al Nakhl Clubhouse. In February, Khidmah Property Management team organized a flea market for the residents of Sas Al Nakhl community. To benefit our vendor residents, the event was open for all and non-resident guests were also invited. Approximately 300 residents & visitors participated and made the event successful. With 20 stands, residents successfully sold & purchased items varying from bags, books, fashion accessories, toys, shoes, CDs, Books, ornaments & jewelleries and enjoyed 100% proceeds from sold units.

Sas Al Nakhl Village provided a great opportunity to its residents to attend a world-class art exhibition in the community. The event held on 27th, 28th & 29th of January in the Community Clubhouse and was attended by a great number of Art lovers. More than 80 residents and non residents attended the event and appreciated the work presented by the artist.
 
           

Mesmerizing work created with Ceramic, Sand, Oil and Acrylic paints, not only enthralled the visitors but also made them purchased a great number of pieces. Residents were impressed with the work and were constantly appreciating the way; the Artist explained his art through his beautiful paintings. One of the resident even concluded that though she is not a fan of face art but when she saw the painting, she found it talking to her and she could not stop herself to buy it.
Paintings were reasonably priced and residents were even offered with special discounts on the big purchases. Residents were very pleased and requested more events of similar kinds in the community.

      

About the Artist:

Syrian Artist Mr. Ahmed Khadro has a diploma in fine art from Art Institute in Latakia –Syria 1989 and in Civil Engineering 1993. Artist has presented his work in several exhibitions in Syria, Dubai & Abu Dhabi.

            

To celebrate Eid Al Adha with our valued residents, Khidmah organized a fun-filled Eid Pool Party at the Community Clubhouse of Sas Al Nakhl Village. The party was organized specially for young generation of the Community!



Children participated in different pool games and had fun with ‘Bouncing Castle’ ‘Floating Octopus’ and ‘Inflatable Water Slides’. The party was supervised by Khidmah lifeguards, spearheaded by the Clubhouse supervisor. The event was so thrilling that kids just couldn’t get themselves out of the water and their parents couldn’t seem to hide the smile on their faces.

Recently Khidmah organized the Halloween Party at Sas Al Nakhl clubhouse! It was an excellent participation and marvelous response from the children and parents. More than 200 children & adults attended the event. It was an exciting event where residents of all ages met with the fellow residents in fancy dresses and Halloween moods.


Children thoroughly enjoyed ‘Eyeball Relay’, ‘Flip Bat Relay’, ‘Mummy Wrap’ and ‘Monster Stop Dance’. In the winners were distributed with candies, chocolates and small prizes. La Brioche added fun to the event with their delicious menu, which was all complementary.
