Abu Dhabi, UAE – 06 May, 2010:  Khidmah LLC, Abu Dhabi’s first Emirati-owned and operated services management company recently completed its first anniversary. Launched in April of last year as a joint venture of two leading companies in the UAE, the company has since significantly grown in the number of its staff, client portfolio as well as the type and reach of the services it provides.

In one year since its establishment, Khidmah has expanded its portfolio of services from property management and leasing to a wide range of services including property & strata management, handover management, maintenance & facility management, resale, landscaping, cleaning, health & fitness club management, pest control, housekeeping, online tools UAE2let.com and ReSale.ae, special services – Khadamati - for individual units and a 24/7 multilingual call center. During this period, the number of units Khidmah manages has also grown from just 900 to over 2500 units. These include villas at Golf Gardens, Sas Al Nakhl Village, Khalidiya Village and commercial units in Khalidiya/Corniche Tower in Abu Dhabi, Al Oyoun Village in Al Ain and 8 buildings of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi, among over 16 projects.

In March 2010 Khidmah joined in a strategic alliance with Securiguard Middle East with the aim of maximizing the quality of the security services at the properties it manages. To ensure it provides the best possible services to its clients, Khidmah offers flexible payment options at some of the most competitive rates in the market.

From day one Khidmah also embarked on a rigorous recruitment drive attracting the best talent in the market. Starting off with 23 members of staff, Khidmah now has a team of 495 employees. Emirati students have been at the forefront of Khidmah’s growth strategy. With the aim of promoting hands-on learning and building professional careers for young Emiratis, Khidmah has developed an internship program for final year UAE national students interested in pursuing private sector careers in services management and real estate.
