Khidmah continues its impressive growth rate for 3rd year in succession

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 24 November, 2011:  Khidmah participates in FM Expo and announces details of the company’s expansion in the 3rd year of its operations. Launched in April 2009 as a joint venture between Sorouh Real Estate PJSC and Capital Investments, the company has since significantly grown its client portfolio as well as the type of services it provides.

Khidmah services portfolio range from Property & Facilities Management to handover management, maintenance, leasing and resale, landscaping maintenance, cleaning, health & fitness club management, pest control, housekeeping, special services – Khadamati - for individual units and a 24/7 multilingual call center.  During the year, Khidmah has emerged as UAE’s leading Facilities and Property Management Company serving some of the most prestigious government and non governmental clients including Musanada, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, ADACH, Sorouh & Capital Investments. Khidmah also serves individual property owners with leasing and selling of units.

From day one Khidmah embarked on a rigorous recruitment drive attracting the best talent in the market. Khidmah staff numbers increased at a rate of 65%, from 550 to 910 over a period of 1 year. With the employees and workers from 29 countries, Emirati students have been at the forefront of Khidmah’s growth strategy. With the aim of promoting hands-on learning and building professional careers for young Emiratis, Khidmah’s internship program for final year UAE national students is one of the best internship programs in the region. Khidmah also won Facilities Management Middle East award 2011 for education and development initiative of the year.

In addition, Khidmah experienced a significant growth in the number of calls received by its 24x7 multilingual call center. Languages spoken at the call center are Arabic, English, Turkish, French and Filipino. Average number of in-bound calls increased from 10,000/month in the last year to 13,000/month this year with an overall growth of 30%. This increase is a direct reflection of the number of units increased in Khidmah property portfolio.
